Want to help investigate water quality? Become a PLSLWD Monitoring Volunteer!
CAMP or Citizen Assisted Monitoring Program is led by the Metropolitan Council and engages volunteers on lakes around the Twin Cities to gather water quality data. This data is used to make informed lake management decisions.
If you live on or have access to a smaller district lake, this may be an opportunity for you to contribute to it's future management!
The CAMP monitoring program runs from April through October and is a bi-weekly commitment. Contact Danielle Studer if interested, dstuder@plslwd.org or 952-440-0069.

The District tracks the ice-on and the ice-off dates for District lakes and is always looking for residents to help. Volunteers are needed for both large and small lakes in the District. This is a great low-commitment and easy way to contribute to decades of lake data in our District!
If you are interested in helping report ice-on and ice-off dates for District lakes, contact Teresa Gostonczik or 952-447-4166.
