District Welcomes New Staff!

Posted by PLSLWD Staff - March 5, 2021 - News

The District is pleased to welcome our two newest staff members onboard! Joni Giese (far left) joins us as our new District Administrator and Patty Dronen (third from right) will be our Administrative Assistant.

Patty brings many years of administrative experience to the District and will provide valuable support to District staff.  Most recently Patty has worked for the Edina Community Foundation. Outside of work, Patty enjoys golfing, spending time on Prior Lake on which her home resides.  She’s excited to have this opportunity at PLSLWD where she can make a positive impact in the local community!

Joni is joining us following 25 years with SRF Consulting Group where she served as a Principal overseeing a diverse range of landscape architecture, planning and water resource projects. She brings extensive project management and partnership building experience with her. Joni is a licensed landscape architect with Masters’ Degrees in Landscape Architecture from the University of Minnesota. She also has a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and is a certified Professional Planner. In her free time, Joni enjoys sailing, gardening, cross-country skiing, biking and enjoying time in the outdoors.

We are excited for Joni and Patty to be able to share their wealth of knowledge and experience with the District!
