The District is nearing the end of the process to update its 10-year Water Resources Management Plan, as the previous plan expired in 2019. The District’s 2020 management plan lays out all of the District’s activities for the next ten years.
The District sent out the Plan for a 60-day review on January 15 to Scott County, the Metropolitan Council, the state review agencies, the Board of Soil and Water Resources, Scott SWCD, townships and statutory cities within the District (per Minnesota Statutes 103B.231 subd. 7). A public hearing will be scheduled once responses have been made to agencies who submitted comments.
A copy of the draft plan can be found on the Management Plan Project Reports page here. Public comments should be sent by March 16 to Diane Lynch at firstname.lastname@example.org or mailed to 4646 Dakota St, Prior Lake, MN 55372.View Full Article
