Watershed districts are local units of government that work specifically to solve and prevent water-related problems. Part of this work includes the implementation of water quality improvement projects. Projects are completed by working closely with local partners such as cities, townships, and Scott County, as well as state agencies.

CR 12/17 Wetland Restoration
Stores excess water by restoring wetland, slows stormwater, and reduces phosphorus entering Spring Lake

Investigated the relationship between Arctic Lake and its watershed
