Flood Study

Prior Lake Stormwater Management & Flood Mitigation Study- FINAL Report (Dec 2016)

The Stormwater Management and Flood Mitigation Study was sponsored by the Prior Lake-Spring Lake Watershed District and the City of Prior Lake, in collaboration with Spring Lake Township, following the 2014 flood. Upper Watershed Blueprint

Upper Watershed Blueprint Report  (March 2021)

In order to approach Upper Watershed stormwater management more comprehensively, the Prior Lake-Spring Lake Watershed District worked with Wenck to develop the Upper Watershed Blueprint. The Upper Watershed Blueprint will be used as a prioritized implementation roadmap for the PLSLWD and local partners to improve water quality conditions and reduce flooding. The goals of this Blueprint are to:

  1. Recommend and prioritize programs, projects and policy to reduce phosphorus and runoff volume,
  2. Identify partners and potential funding sources, and
  3. Detail a 10-year schedule for prioritized program and project implementation.
