The District is pleased to welcome a new addition to our staff!
Jeff Anderson joins us as our first Water Resources Technician – a newly created position at the District. He will assist with water quality monitoring, permitting and help manage our ferric chloride facility and the Prior Lake Outlet Channel. Jeff started last week and is already off and running, working on all sorts of projects.
Jeff graduated from the University of Minnesota-Duluth with a B.S. degree in Environmental Science and comes to us with several years of experience. Jeff has worked as a Water Resource Technician at the Three Rivers Park District for the last three years doing much of the same work he will be doing at our watershed district. While with Three Rivers, some of the water quality monitoring invasive species removal work Jeff did was even in our watershed district! He also spent a year as a Water Quality Specialist at the Riley Purgatory Bluff Creek Watershed District.
In his free time, Jeff enjoys snowboarding and fishing – sturgeon are currently his favorite fish to catch!
We are really excited to have Jeff on board with us!
