As of today, Prior Lake is at an elevation of 903.50, Spring lake is at 911.66 feet, and both lakes are on a downward trend.
According to the National Weather Service, the only chance of rain during the next week is this Friday and Saturday with an estimate of 0.04” of rain. Although unlikely, the Watershed District still has permission from the Department of Natural Resources to dam the outlet of Spring Lake if we receive enough rain to raise Prior Lake near the Ordinary High Water level of 903.9’.
