With the recent rain, the level of Prior Lake is nearing the 902.50 foot mark at which the Prior Lake Outlet Structure is approved to operate. The outlet structure is “self-operating” whereby once the water elevation reaches 902.50 feet it will fall over the weir on the structure and begin to discharge. The structure is still operating under the Management Policy and Operating procedures approved by the DNR in December 2004.
