Looking for a challenge? Enter the Fourth Annual Carp Tournament on Prior Lake and Spring Lake on Saturday, May 21th.
As one of the world’s most wily freshwater fish, common carp are revered as a hard-fighting gamefish, but despised for their harm to local fisheries and water quality. Help the lake community round up carp on May 21th, and you and your friends could possibly snag one of the $500 prizes and a handsome trophy!
Hosted by Knotty Oar Marina and sponsored by the Prior Lake-Spring Lake Watershed District (PLSLWD), this tournament is open to everyone. Prizes will be awarded for largest haul, largest fish and smallest fish. Traditional bowfishing is recommended, but spearing and netting is also allowed. Only $50 to register. Spots are limited. You can register online or download and send in the entry form by clicking on the link below. For more visit: www.knottyoarmarina.com.
